Tech We Can is a programme of free learning materials, for use by teachers or parents, to inspire both boys and girls about a future career in technology.

Inspire more children, particularly girls, to see the possibility that a job in technology can bring.
Tech for Toys
Our latest Tech We Can on-demand lesson explores how technology is being used to design and create toys - and also highlights a variety of tech jobs within the toy industry.
Animated lessons
- available to watch online, free of charge, and on demand
- for use in the classroom or at home
- aimed at children aged 5+
Each lesson:
- is 3 - 4 minutes in length
- explains what the technology is and how it works
- highlights the jobs people do designing and creating everyday technology (with clips of female role models working in tech)
- encourages children to think about how fast technology is advancing and the important role it plays in their lives (now and in the future)
- includes creative activities
On-demand lessons we deliver for you
- available to watch online, free of charge, and on demand
- for use in the classroom or at home
- aimed at children aged 8-14
- presented by one of our Tech We Can teachers
Each lesson:
- is 20 – 45 minutes in length
- demonstrates the variety of tech careers available
- includes optional creative challenges for children to complete
- highlights diverse role models
- meets 6 out of 8 Gatsby Benchmarks
Lesson packs for you to deliver
- free teaching resources for use in the classroom or at home
- aimed at children aged 10-13
- suggested teaching time of 2 hours per lesson
- no specialist skills required to deliver the lessons
Each lesson:
- contains a mix of creative challenges, discussions and informative videos
- demonstrates the variety of tech careers available
- highlights diverse role models
- is linked to the National Curriculum
- meets 6 out of 8 Gatsby Benchmarks
